From "Crystal Heritage" collection, the Master Cutter Waterford Claret Decanter. Footed ewer with unbelievable diamond-cut body, constantly reflecting light from its round center. Thumbprint/chevron cutting on neck front and applied handle. The technique utilized to hand cut this piece is extraordinary and is as much art as it is anything else. Acid Etched with old script WATERFORD logo on the bottom, the seahorse wouldn’t become a part of their stamp until 1998.
